About

Architectural and sculptural forms, folk pottery, art and design history, all inspire my work. I make unconstrained, whimsical vessels that play with form, color, texture, and pattern. My hope is that my pieces can inform our domesticity and validate the truth of home--an environment that makes us feel enlivened and nurtured. I am motivated by investigating the combination of elements that create beauty much of which I see as the balanceI between gravity and spontaneity in the making process. I am available for collaborations and commissions.
